The Peaceful Dragon School of T’ai Chi Ch’uan and Chi Kung offers comprehensive learning in Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced T’ai Chi Ch’uan (TCC), as well as Basic and Intermediate Chi Kung (Qigong).  Classes begin about the second week of  September; second week of January; and the last week of April. Beginner Tai Chi – Learning the Form

(TC 1 – first/third; TC 2 – second/third; and TC 3 – third/third)
The T’ai Chi form is a series of postures linked together in a continuous, fluid manner. As an internal Chinese martial art, the form focuses on self-cultivation, integrates both physical and mental energy mechanics, promotes relaxation, and builds a sense of presence and awareness. T’ai Chi is often characterized as a moving meditation. Register for one class and you can attend both sessions per week – whatever your schedule allows – at no extra cost! (Level 1 – just beginning students as well as Level 2 and 3 are all in the same class.)  Tuition: $215

Wild Goose Qigong 

Want to delve deep into Qigong? This class focuses on the Wild Goose Form and applies the very best techniques of basic Qigong practices. The Wild Goose Form is a series of ongoing movement – a reverent dance that embodies the multidimensional aspect of Chi. The movements include imagery, stretching, acu-point contact, and a connection with universe, nature, and earth energies. Classes taught by Master Wasentha Young. Register for one class and you can attend both sessions per week – whatever your schedule allows – at no extra cost! Virtual attendees are Tuesday evenings only. Tuition: $215

Enables students who have completed learning the form to embody the basic principles of mind/body mechanics in motion and deepen the benefits of their practice. Students who have completed learning the form (6+ years) continue learning through the advanced principles of mind/spirit mechanics in motion and deepen the benefits of their practice. You can also attend any of the TC 1, 2, or 3 classes at no extra cost!  Tuition: $200


Push Hands

Push Hands is the exploration of direct interaction. It is an intuitive based direct contact exercise which offers the opportunity to safely work with our relative tensions and setting of healthy boundaries as we interact. The basic principles of the Tai Chi Form are stable as participants work with the principles of listening, adhering, yielding, and neutralizing. Students must have completed the solo Tai Chi form. Wednesdays @ 7:00 PM Tuition $175

Weapon forms taught throughout the year. Must have completed the empty hand Tai Chi form. Tuition: $200

Join us for a harmonizing flow of head-to-toe movement, meditation, and self-acupressure to help you to center and navigate the changing seasons.

Gentle Qigong is a fun and invigorating self care practice for all ages and experience levels.

This class is hybrid – in-person and Zoom.
Drop-in is $15 (check or cash) or $150 for the semester

Rory Walsh is a certified Qigong instructor trained by Master Wasentha Young.
