Description
The Tai Chi Chuan Certification Track is approximately a 3.5 year process. Students can request an application after completing 1.5 years and by appointment with Master Young. As part of the certification, a student must have completed basic, intermediate and advanced training which include:
- Tai Chi Chuan Form (1, 2, and 3)
- 3 terms of Form Progression
- 1 term of Push Hands
- Sword Form
- Business Ethics – Including teaching agreement
And two electives from the list below:
- Chi Kung Fundamentals
- Tai Chi Application
- I-Ching
- Nurturing Touch
- Expanding Into Energy Pathways
- Season Spirit Series
Upon completion of these classes, certification is a process whereby the student must assist in TC 1, 2, and 3; become a supervised teacher in TC 1, 2, and 3; demonstrate the TCC form; and create a form (does not have to be martial) that exemplifies the embodiment of the TCC principles.
Tuition: $1000 (After the 1.5 years this fee includes all intermediate, advanced TCC courses and training – does not include electives)
The Chi Kung Certification Track is a 2.5 year process. Student can request an application for the certification program after the first year and by appointment with Master Young. As part of certification, a student must have completed the basic and intermediate courses which include:
- Fundamentals of Chi Kung
- Wild Goose Chi Kung Form
- Self-Acupressure
- Meditation
- Five Element Theory
- Business Ethics – including teaching agreement
- And two electives from the list below:
- I-Ching
- Nurturing Touch
- Season Spirit Series
- 8 Ways
- Introduction to Tai Chi
- Expanding into Energy Pathways
Upon completion of these classes, certification is a process whereby the student must assist in class, demonstrate – through a case study, demonstration, and a written and oral exam – an ability to comprehensively appreciate Chi Kung and its applications in furthering wellness.
Tuition: $1200 (After the first year this fee includes all basic, intermediate courses and training – does not include electives)
