FREE Intro to Tai Chi for Teenagers (14-17)


Peaceful Dragon School is offering a new Tai Chi class specifically designed for teenagers. Now the benefits of Tai Chi is accessible to teens.


You have the option of attending one, two or all three of these (register for each separately.)

Monday March 11 and/or 25 – 6:00 – 7:00 PM
Saturday, March 30 – 10:00 – 11:00 AM

Peaceful Dragon School is offering a FREE introduction class in Tai Chi specifically designed for teenagers.  During these sessions, through the Tai Chi movements, participants will be playfully introduced to Tai Chi’s basic mind/body mechanic, and additionally, ways in which it can help with relaxation and focus. 

After signing up for the FREE intro, a guardian waiver will be e-mailed, must signed, and either e-mailed to the school or brought to the class.

After completing the intro class interested students can become part of the first class for teens and potentially becoming leaders for teens at the school. This class will start in May and run through June. (There will be a small fee for this class that will be listed later. Class size limited to 12)

About the instructor: Hi, I’m Nigel. My title at the school is Sifu. I have been a student at PDS since 2015, under the supervision of Master Wasentha Young. These sessions are being offered because I know that today’s life can be over-stimulating and stressful for young people. I do Tai Chi for relaxation and would like to share the benefits I get out of Tai Chi, as a mind/body exercise, so that you can use it to get your relaxation on.
