Join Acupuncturist Abby Humphrey in dialogue about the energetic qualities and characteristics of Spring Energy and how it relates to your fundamental constitution. Master Wasentha Young will lead you in respective exercises to increase your awareness of how these concepts can be embodied to enhance your well-being. You will leave with a sense of renewal and opening, ready to move into the energy of Spring.

Abby Humphrey began her study of Traditional Chinese Medicine while attending Wesleyan University where she was inspired to write a thesis on Chinese medicine as part of her bachelor’s degree in East Asian Studies. Further study in complementary medicine brought her to certification in Massage Therapy, and eventually to the Traditional Acupuncture Institute (now the TAI Sophia Institute), where Abby earned a Masters degree in Acupuncture and Certification in Chinese Herbal Medicine.
Having facilitated workshops on Five Element Theory and Shiatsu in Ann Arbor, Toledo and Traverse City, Abby has also lectured on Chinese medicine in the U of M School of Public Health and Medical School.
Wasentha Young has been a practitioner of tai chi, qigong, and different styles of meditation since 1968. She holds certificates in acupressure/traditional Chinese medical theory, a
nd mind/body counseling. As well, Wasentha has experience in African and Native American healing arts.
A Master’s Degree in Transpersonal Studies, she uses her profound understanding of diverse approaches in process work to help students move into a place of strength, harmony and well-being.
